As a retired city administrator, I have plenty of time available for drop ins and attentive walks. I’m a dad of three and a grandpa of seven. I had dogs as a kid, but once my first grand dog came along, I realized how much I love caring for them. I dog sit regularly for my kids - walks, meals, meds, play, treats, and reinforcing house rules. I’d love to help your pup be a little less lonely and get a little more exercise when you’re away.

Don (aka my dad) has always welcomed our dogs. He watched our Labrador, Jack, whenever we went on trips, including to Australia. I never worried about my “sons” when they were with Don. He loves petting and talking with them, walking, tossing the ball or frisbee, and letting them sleep at his feet. He loves to treat them too. 🥰 He is infinitely kind and patient. But he is also no pushover. He is strong and no-nonsense and raised some dog-loving kids.

Availability
Available for walks/play dates/drops-ins on weekdays 9a-4p. Occasional holiday drop-ins available. Off-hours, overnight, or vacation care on a case by case basis only. Would love to have regular walks. Any size dog ok, but have most experience with medium to large dogs.
