I have been a volunteer dog walker/shelter trainer at The CT Human Society in Waterford for about 3 years now where I was also awarded the Volunteer of the Year award for 2017. While there I have walked and trained just about every breed you can imagine. Ranging from nice calm dogs to high energy dogs to dogs that just seem totally out of control! Whether walking or training a dog, the key to success is being able to connect with the dog first. If you connect with the animal first they WILL listen! I'm also a lifelong dog and cat owner who has always had a deep connection with animals. I'm always learning and improving my skills. This is my joy, passion and great love in life!
