My family and I have just moved to the Kalamazoo area from Tampa, FL, where I worked as a full-time veterinary assistant for several years. Additionally, I have accumulated hundreds of hours volunteering at animal shelters. Between these two, I have developed skills that allow me to be comfortable caring for all kinds of animals, and allow me to help those with specific needs, such as medication/fluid administration, first-aid, aggression/anxiousness, puppy/senior care, etc. Feel free to reach out with any questions! :)

Ruby loved having Dominique watch her while we were out of town. When my daughter gets home from school, she could tell that she received all the love and attention she needed to be a good puppy the rest of the night.

A typical day
All animals need mental and physical stimulation for their overall health and well-being. It's just as important to me as it is to them to let them explore new smells, play games, and go at their own pace. Exploring trails, parks, and stopping for a pup cup is standard for my own dog, Maple. The most important part is that they can get the utmost enjoyment out of it. A tired dog is a happy dog!

I am currently working part-time as a vet assistant. I have wide-open availability Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, and I'm available Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays after 5pm.
