Pet care experience
I have been petsitting and dog walking for over 5 years for multiple families in the Bay Area. In order to give pets my full care and attention, I only sit for one household at a time. I am able to care for multiple pets in a single household -- the most I have taken care of is 3 big golden retrievers! I have taken care of dogs and cats with ages ranging from 9 weeks to 14 years old. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, so I'm able to stick to your pet's regular daily routine. I own a compact SUV with back seats that fold down so that there is ample space for pets to lay down during a car ride.

Very accommodating and helpful! She was willing to come twice a day, and also extend her visits if needed. We really appreciate that she is willing to be a daytime contact for on call visits if necessary. So happy we found a great pet sitter for our new puppy!

I ensure that all items that can be harmful to your pet (food, cleaning supplies, choking hazards) are put away and keep a close eye on animals to make sure they are safe.

I don't have any breed preferences. I like to know about any current medical conditions and any relevant medical history. I also like to know about the home environment so that I know how much social/human interaction the dog is used to; I've learned that taking care of a dog with a stay-at-home owner is very different from taking care of a dog whose owner(s) is gone for most of the day.
A typical day
I vary activities based on the age of the pets in my care. For young dogs, I take them out on long walks multiple times throughout the day and spend a lot of time playing with toys. I love to toss around a ball or play tug! For senior dogs, I look for shorter walks and make sure to take breaks as needed. Senior dogs are my favorite to take care of because they're always excited for a snuggle!

Availability
I am currently a student, and my classes are typically 1-2 hours long. I am able to join my classes from Zoom, allowing for me to be in-home for overnight stays and adjust my schedule for walks as needed on a daily basis for drop-in visits.
