My childhood best friend's family fostered Border Collies and I spent countless hours playing with them. In college, I volunteered with the campus police department's K-9 team as a decoy (ask me about how fun that was!) which exposed me to German Shepherds and Malinois. Between graduating from college and moving to Chicago, I helped train and care for my family's Yorkshire Terrier. Having had so many different experiences with so many breeds in so many settings, I am confident that I can establish a positive rapport with any dog. I love having a furry friend with whom to play fetch and get in a bit of exercise. While I prefer early morning and early evening walks during the week (I work a typical 9a-5p job) I have lots of flexibility during the week and open availability most weekends.
