Thanks for another great weekend, Dominique!! I didn't have internet connection for most of my trip away, but knew he was in great hands. When I could connect to the internet, I really appreciated the detailed check-ins, as always. Loved the photos too! You should be a doggie photographer! 📸
Dominique walked out flat coated retriever, Hannah, daily on weekdays for three months. She was extremely communicative and always reliable. We could tell Hannah really enjoyed her time with her going through the neighborhood and in our building's dog park. We plan on Dominique returning for another set of long term daily walks!
There are simply not enough good things to say about Dominique as a walker, person and caregiver. She is phenomenal. We have a very sweet, needy, sensitive, reactive GSD who we have had a difficult time leaving with other people because she is huge and a challenge to walk. It has been difficult to go away and enjoy vacations since we have had her because we worry about her. Dominique took such incredible care of our girl, sent photos, wrote wonderfully detailed messages after each walk, and was so attentive to Shadow’s individual needs while we were gone. And, as a result, we were able to thoroughly enjoy our trip and Shadow loved her! We cannot recommend Dominique enough- she has a gift of caring for animals and is a lovely human to boot!!
Dominique was amazing and patient with our young dog. Highly recommend!

I care for pets exactly as client needs and follow client instructions completely. I ask for specifics on food, water, treats, bags and supply location, emergency contacts, where pets normally hide, temperament, favorite toys, and other important material. I spend time playing and petting animals each visit, ensure a 25 minute walk time for dogs and pay close attention to detail. I am experienced in administering medication, including insulin. I have received formal training through two separate dog walking and pet sitting companies over the past two decades of pet care, including Passionately Pets here in Alexandria, VA.

A typical day
Your dog and I will have tons of fun walking, playing with toys, and exploring the neighborhood. I avoid other dogs when walking, go at the pace the dog needs, ensure dogs sit at cross walks and prioritize safety and consistency first.

I currently work remotely full time in public health policy. I care for animals and walk dogs in the mornings, evenings, weekends and sometimes for my lunch break. Taking a break from office work to spend time with animals is the highlight of my day!
