Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of neighbors, friends, and families four-legged family members for over 20 years — and have a rescue of my own for a little over three. I adore animals, and I love providing them the love and care they deserve.

I have had the distinct pleasure of knowing Dominique for a little over three years now and I can honestly say she is one of the best pet owners I have ever met. She is truly passionate about taking care of animals, giving them the love they deserve and meeting their needs, small or great. Dominique is great with all kinds of dogs, is able to keep up with more energetic breeds, and is equally good at snuggling with more chill dogs. If I ever need a dog sitter, she is always the first person I call because I know my dogs are in good hands with her. She would make an excellent choice as a Rover employee.
The first person I call anytime I need a pet sitter is Dominique. She is so patient and loving to every pet that she comes into contact with; whether it’s her own dog, a friends pet or a total stranger’s! Dominique truly takes the time to meet the needs of the pets she cares for whether it be taking them on long walks and/or giving them all of the love and cuddles. She is also educated on how to take care of rescue pets that might need a little tlc/slower paced environment. Just know that while your fur baby is in Dominique’s care, they will be in good loving and caring hands.

Temperament, medication, needs, basic routines, and any other specific requests. It's important I know everything necessary to ensure your dog is comfortable. Whether I'm stopping by your house, or having them stay here, I want to feel like a space for your animal.
A typical day
Although we don't have a yard, our apartment complex has a fenced-in dog park. I take Ash there daily, and he's always meeting a new furry friend. I also walk through the two neighborhoods that surround my complex for longer walk days.

Availability
I currently work full-time but remotely, with weekend availability. I usually walk my dog early in the morning and at lunch. In the evening, we take him to the field by the dog park to throw the ball a few times. I'm pretty much available whenever throughout the day. I just make sure my dog stays active throughout the day.
