Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs! Since my first dog at age 7 to now caring for animals has been a passion. As a student, I have been unable to have my own pet but have been able to volunteer weekly at a local shelter providing care and enrichment for up to 7 dogs and 12 cats at a time. I have experience from puppies to geriatric pups and have never met a dog I didn't like. At the shelter, we also put a large focus on checking dogs thoroughly for any concerning or out of the ordinary behavior, so I know what to look for to ensure your dog is in the best health they can be! Personally, I have a pup back home who is very shy and gets nervous easily, so I am completely comfortable dealing with dogs who may have need for a little more patience. I love petting every dog I meet on campus and I know I will love yours as well!

Dominique loves working with animals and has a great intuition when it comes to pets needs. She would often watch my dog at work when I had meetings throughout the day. I had the pleasure of working with Dominique is a professional environment where our office is pet friendly. My work schedule was packed with meetings and interviews and Dominique was always the first to offer to dog sit while I would be out of my office. She has an enthusiasm and love for animals that is unrivaled. My dog just loves her!!!

I have experience with all types of dogs, but I would love to know if your pup has any quirks before I meet them. For example, my dog has a limp that I'm aware of but can worry people when they first meet her. If your pups have any issues like that, I would love to be told before so I don't worry, because when in my care your animals will be treated like my own. Similarly, I am not afraid to take on a special needs dog and have experience expressing dogs that have trouble urinating on their own. Besides that, I love all breeds and am excited to meet yours!
A typical day
I can guarantee a long walk with your pup (making sure all "needs" are done before we get back home to your carpet). As a student, I love UC's campus and if you live close by, would be happy to show your dog around there! If you live too far for that to be a walk, I have lived in Cincinnati all my life and know of some lovely walks for both them and me.
