"No job too big, no pup too small!"
Pet care experience
I’m told I have a contagious personality––Friends and strangers tell me I’m always smiling and that my bubbly nature makes any situation fun. Growing up surrounded by animals and now being a mom to my own fur babies and three daughters, has blessed me with a ton of positive energy. I’m super transparent and trustworthy, which are important traits when it comes to leaving your beloved pet with a total stranger you’ve met online. My experience consists of caring for many dogs over the years; even interning at a veterinary hospital where I bathed, fed, medicated, and played with dogs in need. I've always had the huge soft spot for dogs because they are so similar to people, plus they are so darn cute! Dogs have personalities and feelings just like us and I think it's truly amazing. I know how important pets are to families because after all, they ARE family. I currently have a playful kitten named Midni. She gets along great with the K9 friends that come to stay with us. We relish having guest doggies come and go. Rest assured, your pup will get around the clock attention and love from my family and receive stupendous care! My wish is for your dog to feel like s/he is on a wonderful "dogcation" while staying with my family. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages so of course I'm also happy to care for your senior dog who just may want a quiet, sunny place to snooze the day away. There are no stairs in my home! A FEW HOUSEHOLD RULES: Meet & Greet- Please bring a copy of your pet's current vaccination records and flea/tick medication your pet is being administered. Please ensure your pet will not be missing their dosage of their flea/tick prevention during their stay in my home, I will be happy to administer the dosage in your absence if necessary. Aggression- For the safety of my family and all other pets that may be boarding in my residence, ANY ANIMAL SHOWING AGGRESSIVE BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO STAY. Pick Up/Drop Off Times- I prefer for your fur baby to be checked in between the hours of 6am- 4pm on the day of drop-off. If you need to drop off earlier than 6am, just let me know at the meet and greet. Please be advised a day of boarding is 24 hrs, so the time you drop your dog off is typically the time they should be picked up when you return. I understand that you may run behind schedule from time to time, so I have extended pick-up time to the hour of 7pm. I do however charge a late fee of $15 if you arrive after 7pm. Please communicate any issues you may have arriving at your designated pick up time to maintain a mutual level of respect for one another's time. Food- Please ensure your fur baby has enough food for their entire stay. If your pet is running low on food, please leave enough money for me to go to the store and get more. I do keep some extra food if your fur baby happens to run out during the stay, but please be mindful that it is the responsibility of the parent to provide food. Spay/Neuter- While I am okay accepting females that are intact (non-spayed) as long as they are NOT in heat and do not exhibit spraying/marking, I prefer not to take intact (non-neutered) males due to potential marking/territorial issues. The decision, however is based on the meet and greet. I may be okay taking an intact male if he is well trained and does not mark in my home. If it is found that your pet marks during the stay, I will not be able to keep him/her for future boarding unless he/she has been neutered/spayed. There will also be a $5 charge per marking incident. This rule is in place to deter other pets from the urge of marking during their stay. Pet Accidents- While I understand some pets may get nervous in new surrounding or may be in the potty-training stage, I prefer to sit housebroken pets. A singular accident is comprehensible, however if your pet urinates or defecates in my home more than once, there will be a $5 CHARGE FOR EACH INCIDENT. This helps with the costs incurred for cleaning supplies and products. However if furniture is soiled and not able to be cleaned with the products I have, please expect a bill for the cleaning fee. I am however a little bit more lenient towards puppies in training, but please provide puppy pads so we can try to minimize the accidents. Drop In Visits/Walks- If you would like me to drop in at your residence and check on your fur baby or walk them, please be advised if there is anything out of the ordinary such as a mess or if your pup had an accident I will notify you immediately. If you would like me to clean up behind your fur baby, there will be a small cleaning fee of $15. Bathing- I am more than happy to give your fur baby a bath if they get messy! I will contact you and advise you of the situation so you can determine if you would like to utilize this option. The fee for this additional service is $25 per bath in my home & $15 per bath if in your home. Flea/Tick Prevention & Parasite Activity- It is imperative that your pet is protected against fleas and ticks and other parasites while staying in my home, especially during summer months. I live near a wooded area, which is like a flea/tick paradise! I am attempting to keep my home a TICK/FLEA FREE ZONE but I need your help! In addition to providing documentation of current dosage at the meet & greet, I reserve the right to conduct a quick inspection of your pet at drop-off to ensure no pests are present. If your pet is found to have ANY parasitic activity (this includes worms of any kind found in the stool during the stay), there will be a $150 ADDITIONAL CHARGE to board them during their stay dates and they will be quarantined until you arrive to pick them up. You also have the option to cancel the stay at that time (please review my cancellation policy) and pick them up IMMEDIATELY. I do not want to place other pets at risk, so if your pet remains you will be charged the fee and they will need to be debugged during their stay by way of bathing, tweezing/combing and washing all bedding. The fee will go towards any and all measures used to insure my pet and home does not become infested (parasite bombing/eradication). Destruction of Property- If your pet destroys anything of value in or at my home, you are financially responsible for the damages. Rover does not cover property damage with their insurance, therefore the liability transfers to the pet owner. To ensure you have read and agree to the above, I kindly ask that you sign an acknowledgment form at my residence stating that you have been notified and agree to the above rules at the time you drop off your fur baby :) ***Please pay all monies owed for the above incurred fees NO LATER THAN THE TIME YOU PICK-UP YOUR PET via cash, or through Venmo or PayPal. Cash App is NOT accepted.*** If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out via text or phone. Thank you! I am currently only doing dog/cat care services so that leaves my whole day open to service my client. Please book quickly as my schedule fills up fast! I have a fenced in yard with plenty of room and two fur babies of my own to keep yours company. I can crate your fur baby at your request and I do have a few different sized crates so you do not have to tote yours with you assuming one of mine is available for use. I have nanny cams to keep an eye on your baby if I need to leave for a short while, and I always ensure no pet is around the door as I enter and exit the home. I also have gates to keep fur babies from access if necessary. Safety is always key!

Information Dominique C. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting your pet, I'd like to know all about your dog's temperament towards other animals like cats and other dogs since I may have some already on the premises at the same or different intervals. My main concern is the safety and welfare of all the animals under my care. If necessary, I do have gates to separate fur babies if they need their own space. There are pet-loving children in my home so it can tend to get a bit noisy at times. Please let me know if your dog may not be comfortable meeting new pets/people or with loud noises. Does your dog have separation anxiety issues? Are there any potty-training issues or aggressive behaviors? Please talk and share with me so I may provide the best care. I do prefer your fur babies to be house-trained and neutered or spayed to prevent marking issues. If your dog tends to chew/tear up things or get into mischief during nocturnal hours, please bring their crate! I realize open and regular communication are key to a healthy and happy working relationship; so I am happy to send you daily updates and photos, you also can feel free to contact me day or night with questions or just to say hello. Thank you!
A typical day
My home is very open; I feel like there are no enclosed spaces expect the bedrooms and bathrooms, which gives it a welcoming vibe. My backyard is pretty big but it is not completely fenced in, so I am careful to leash my pet companions when we explore it. My neighborhood community is called Amberwood and it’s a quiet and peaceful place to live, which I love! Everyone is so friendly and respectful of others. I think dogs love the serene setting and the fact that there is always something new to explore because there are so many routes to take. I have plenty of toys to play with, some that oink and some that squeak! But nothing beats a stroll around my maze of a neighborhood to release tons of energy and take in the beautiful scenery.
