With training in counseling & psychology, I understand non-verbal communication better than most-- my ability to build rapport with dogs is unmatched. Equal parts playful and "alpha," I know how to keep dogs happy through a balance of freedom of direction. I'm observant, detail-oriented, and athletic, with the ability to meet the needs of a wide range of animals. I have experience training puppies, walking multiple dogs at once, boarding, and handling medication.

Dominic did a great job, we can’t thank him enough. We have a leash reactive dog who needed some exercise but had a full schedule and couldn’t get home to let her out. Dom was able to make it work with very little notice and did a great job handling her and all our pretty specific requests! She had a great walk and came home nice and tuckered out. Thanks Dominic!
Dominic was great with our German Shep & taking care of our fish tanks and house over a week long vacation. He is congenial, detail oriented & can be trusted to handle any thing with little oversight. His communication skills are superb. I highly recommend him to anyone to take great care of your pets.
Dominic has cared for our two dogs and cat several times. We have dogs who can be challenging behaviorally (leash reactive, escape artists) and Dominic has always listened to our concerns and respected all our requests to ensure everyone was safe and well cared for. Everyone got lots of snuggles, tons of great exercise, and we got lots of great pictures that made us reassured while we were away. He took care of our house and our houseplants while we were away too! Can’t recommend him enough!
Dom has always been gentle and compassionate with my pets; as well, he can readily assess when a dog is up for being playful and when they want to chill. He is conscientious, responsible and will follow provided instructions as closely as possible.

I would love to know the primary commands you use with your pets; any quirks or funny personality traits they might have; if they are good off-leash or need to be kept on a short leash; how they tend to behave with other dogs; and what their typical energy level is.
A typical day
It depends on the dog, but I love to take them out hiking on trails, especially if they are high-energy. Otherwise, walks on the beach & visits to the dog park (or some other open field) are preferred. If your dog is athletic, I am more than happy to take them on a run. Ultimately, I try to mix in familiar and new locations so that your pets can feel at home while also get the stimulation that comes with novel experiences.

I love to build a consistent pet care routine into my weekly schedule, and I do my best to make it work for everyone-- whether that means walking before sunrise, going on hikes or beach trips with your pup, or running to your house in order to keep my own workouts on schedule while still giving all of my attention to your pets.
