Pet care experience
I’ve had pets since I was six years old. I started with a cat named Sherlock and ever since I’ve had pets in my life. I’ve been a humane society foster for the past five years. I’ve cared for playful kittens, crabby cats, puppies with endless energy, senior dogs that slept 23 hours a day, and everything in between.

Cashew had a great time staying with Dominic and his partner. We were sent multiple updates throughout our trip, and Dominic was quick to respond when we had questions. Would highly recommend and would definitely love to have him watch our pup again in the future!
Our two giant bears 🐼 & 🐻 (St Bernard's) were so very well taken care of with Dominic! As a helicopter dog mom, I'm very particular. And having two hip dogs with very different needs who spend all day everyday with us work from home parents, I couldn't have asked for a better sitter experience or trip away (at full ease). We'd love for him to stay with our pups again! 💯

Dominic was the best possible dog sitter for my GSD mix, Ivy. She stayed with him for 11 days and got enough exercise to suit even this high-energy pup. Dominic took her walking/running on trails and gave her real workouts running beside his bike. I actually liked that he doesn't have a fenced yard since I didn't have to worry about her escaping; she undoubtedly would have otherwise, being part husky. I am so glad I chose Dominic and would choose him to sit Ivy again.

I live right by the bike path and greenway so when I care for a pet it’s very easy to go for nice long walks away from traffic to get our exercise and do lots of sniffing. My apartment has plenty of room for a crate if your pet prefers to sleep in their little den with all the smells from home. We have a great view of Bellingham bay so kitties can safely lay in the sun and watch the world go by.

Let me know if your dog or cat has any special care requirements. Do they have a favorite food, a favorite game? A spot they love to be pet, a spot they hate to be pet. Are they crazy for fetch? Do they just want to relax and look out the window? All pets have different needs and I want to be sure I’m doing my best to meet your pets needs.
A typical day
I feel like exercise is often the best way to get a dog comfortable. I like to start off by going for a brisk walk, checking out the sights and all the good smells. If the owner is ok with the dog being off leash I have access to a safe area where we can play fetch or chase. After that home for cuddles and relaxing.

Availability
I work part time from home as a photo editor. That leaves me with a lot of free time. I love to go for long walks. Pet sitting combines two of my loves together. Being outside, getting exercise, while caring for people’s pets.
