I owned a loving and playful German Shepherd from the time that I was about 3 or 4 to the time he passed when I was just turning 16. When he was alive, I would often take him on walks and jogs and play with him in our fairly large back yard. Unfortunately, since then, I haven't owned a dog of my own, but like any dog lover, I frequently interact with dogs that I pass by in the community. My fiance's parents own an Australian Shepherd named Corbin who is pictured with me in my profile photo. He's a super playful and loving dog, and whenever we're visiting her family, which is often, I spend close to half of the time there playing with him and making sure he gets outside and gets enough exercise. I have no formal experience caring for pets in a professional setting, but I have a storied history owning and interacting with dogs, and I also have two cats that I have owned for the last four-five years.
