As a dog owner and lover myself, I am very affectionate and loving towards our best friends. I love petting, cuddling and generally giving dogs the love and attention they crave and deserve. I love playing fetch and if desired, I use positive reinforcement to teach basic commands as well as potty training. My dog is more than a dog, he is my family, my heart and my soul. Any dogs in my care will be like family and get the love and attention they need as well. Dogs warm my heart and can always make me smile. They are full of unconditional love, so I feel dogs deserve the same unconditional love they give and I am always happy to give it to them. A typical drop in would include letting the dogs out supervised in a fenced yard or leashed if no fence to get a nice walk and some fresh air and sunshine, as well as making potty and/or pee. If there is a fenced area available and they enjoy it, a little game of fetch will frequently be played. As for feeding, I will ensure that there are clean bowls for fresh clean water and the recommended amount and type of food as per owners request. I also enjoy practicing/teaching basic commands and tricks using positive reinforcement such as treats, high fives, hugs, positive "good boy/girl" and lots of affectionate petting. If potty training is still in progress, I also maintain a nap time/feeding schedule and treats as well as positive reinforcement to motivate/teach dogs that potty and pee goes outside. As far as overnight sitting, if allowed by owners we can play fetch and practice basic commands /tricks til the little pup truckers out. Then if welcomed by the dogs, I enjoy relaxing and cuddling up next to them,giving them some sweet affectionate pets And kisses frequently and if allowed by owner snuggling up on the couch or in bed at bedtime. I'm the morning first thing is to go out for a potty and pee, then breakfast. The rest is up to what the owner requests and the dogs are up for. Yo me, dogs are not just dogs. They are family, they are soothing heelers, they are our best friends with unconditional love for us and they deserve they same love and attention in return.
