I am a retired military veteran, who loves to spend time outdoors. I take my 5 year old black labrador retriever, Saumba, to the beach, ponds, walking trails and parks. We live very close to the beach, where we can allow dogs off leash year round, if owners feel comfortable with doing that. What I really want to convey is that I really love dogs, especially those who are compatible with my dog Saumba. So when I host an owner's dog, I will treat that dog as if its my own. I want owners to know that I will love and care for their dog just as they would, giving them piece of mind when they drop their dog off.

Our 10 year old GSP Wagner spent a great overnight. This was Wagner's second time with Rick and his gentle Lab Saumba. Upon arrival, Wagner was instantly happy and ran to the front door.It is obvious that Rick loves animals and he makes sure that he has all the information needed for their care. He is quick to respond to all text messages and is very accommodating.
Daisy spent a long weekend at Rick's house and was super happy, healthy and comfortable when we picked her up. Also our trip was last minute and Rick was very flexible and accommodating in taking care of Daisy on short notice. Thank you Rick! We'll see you next time.
Our 9 year old German Shorthair, Wagner, just spent 3 nights with Rick and his wife. We knew from our first meeting that they are dog lovers. Their dog Saumba was friendly, well behaved, and quite happy to be sharing his home with a new guest. Wagner was well cared for in their lovely home and enjoyed his outdoor excursions. Rick responded promptly to our inquiry and sent along several pictures of Wagner enjoying himself. We will not hesitate to contact him whenever we need boarding services and recommend him highly.
When we drop our shy miniature schnauzer off with Rick and his wife... she is so happy to go inside their house and play with their dog We get to enjoy our day without worrying about our Zoey The last visit she came home with a toy Thank you Rick and Patty.
