Pet care experience
As a little girl who grew up on a farm I have been caring for animals both big and small since the time I could walk. I love animals and providing a safe space for them to thrive. I also have experience with timid dogs and bringing them back to health. My own puppy, Annie was rescued almost a year ago now after being found in a ditch starved and frost bitten. It took patience and time to work with this scared timid pup to become the happy, excited, healthy, people and animal loving doggo she is today! One of my favorite things about pet sitting is learning each pups unique personalities and providing a fun, safe environment where they feel right at home. I have also completed several classes/certifications in dog training and behavior from The Dunbar Academy.

Buddy loved Djemilah and her sweet family. He felt right at home! I didn't have to worry about him while on my trip and that was priceless! Djemilah sent me updates and pics the entire time. I will leave Buddy with her again!
Our first time to leave our Aggie with Djemilah yesterday and it went great. She was very understanding regarding Aggies timidity with other dogs. We will be back.
Djemilah took great care of our pup Daisy. We highly recommend using her if you’re in the Wimberley area. We’ll definitely be reaching out to her the next time we go someplace we can’t take Daisy with us.
Our dog Ollie had such a good time! She was well looked after and the photos and videos gave us such a piece of mind! We will def be back!

I have both a front and back fenced yard so your furbaby has plenty of space to play! There is a large dog house and trees with lots of shade in the backyard. Typically the dogs will be in the backyard with me as I am working on things in the garden or on the property or in the house hanging with me as I work on the computer. I am still working on training my rescue puppy with commands so would be happy to have your doggie join in! I am also certified in Dog and Cat First Aid by American Red Cross. Please let me know beforehand if any quirks your furbaby might have so that we can make their stay as comfortable as possible! (For example they are scared of the doorway, they hate their left ear being scratched, etc) in addition please provide their feeding schedule as well as their bedtime/sleeping routine.
A typical day
First we wake up and all go outside for our morning potty break, then we come back inside for feeding/mealtime, after breakfast we like to go outside for some exercise and focused playtime. We will play fetch, practice commands, and get out all our energy from the night! After that I will typically take some phone calls or work on my computer outside at the picnic table and the pups can hangout, explore, etc. Around lunch we go in for some rest/nap/quiet time, allow dogs to have alone time/space from other dogs if needed. Then go back out back for a some afternoon play before heading in to work on dinner! Availability
We are a family of pet lovers and pet care is very much integrated into our day. Wake up, go outside for potty breaks, have breakfast/do medications if needed, go back outside for some playtime. Throughout the day the pups can be found running back and forth between my home and my in-laws through the large back fenced in yard. In the hot summer days you may find us playing in the sprinkler or lying on the cool concrete of the garage in the AC. With four dog loving adults on the property- your pup will have lots of hands for lovin’!
