Diyan was a exactly what we wanted for our situation. We have a cat/dog/quail/Garden. We really needed someone to stay here and focus on our pets/home while we were away. We had other extras that needed attention such as watering and looking after the quail. She took care of our home as expected and left our house better than we left it. I would highly recommend Diyan. She is highly reliable and made us feel at ease during our vacation. She even left us a little treat, such a sweet heart. You can tell she genuinely takes what she does serious. She will be our go to pet/house sitter.
Diyan did a great job with my little dog who is blind. We are visiting from Colorado and spent the day at Legoland and needed someone extra patient to care for our dog for the day. I received the cutest picture of my dog as well as updates during the day. He was very well cared for and will definitely use Diyan again when I am back in the area in February.
Diyan did a great job caring for our 2 labs. Lucy is very active and toby is very mellow. Her years of dog ownership allowed her to manage to their individual personalities- Lucy can be exhausting but loves to cuddle and go everywhere with you. They had. Such a great time I dont think they wanted her to leave! I would definitely recommend Diyan and use her again for my pet sitting needs. Plus- my hose was spotless- a definite bonus!
Diyan took excellent care of my dog at her home. She knew what to ask beforehand and sent me updates during the day on how things were going. Diyan has taken care of dogs, horses and other animals for many years, and I trust her completely with my fur baby.

We live on a large fenced property with lots of room to run and play. I am very cautious regarding all the gates being locked when the dogs are out. My dog Diego loves to hang around with us and your dog probably will too. You are invited to come see our grounds for yourself if you decide to allow us to care for your precious furbaby.

Any special needs that your dog may have, like separation anxiety, loves to chase a ball or has a favorite toy. Is your dog friendly with other dogs? Loves seeing squirrels? I want your dog to have a fantastic time with us so please let me know as much as possible about your dog.
A typical day
All the dogs love to play fetch so we play that game endlessly. I enjoy walking around the neighborhood and so do the dogs. So many smells and nice people to meet. We also continually work on good manners. Sit, stay, come, wait your turn. Hopefully each dog that is with us will bring their own special toy but if not we have one for them. Our days are full of dog and people fun, and there is also space for your dog to relax and chill.

Availability
I am retired. I do take care of my horse, Valor. There is always time for one more. I was a puppy raiser for a year and loved it. Daisy, when she was with us became a therapy dog. Everyone just loved her. I also spent 5 years working for Helen Woodward in Del Mar, in the education department. I taught dog behavior and "How to meet a Dog" classes. We also educated children at their schools about various types of animals, including reptiles, frogs, cats and various other mammals. A wonderful job to be sure.
