Cesar Milan's unofficial daughter
Pet care experience
I watch Cesar Milan (Dog Whisperer) & Victoria Stilwell (It's Me or The Dog) regularly, which has provided with me insight for caring for my family's pets (Shiba Inu, shih-tzu), my coworkers' pets (lab mixes, terrier mix), and now my own dachsund-pitbull
Reviews
Dionna is great! She is friendly and reliable. I've asked for her help many times while I've been out traveling. She even jumped to help when I had an emergency late one evening and had to leave my fur babies to check on an elderly relative in another state. I knew that with her there, I didn't need to worry about my senior pup who needs several walks, and an evening feeding. I was able to focus on the task at hand knowing my home and fur babies were well taken care of.
Dionna has stayed with our pets several times. She is caring and watches over our 3 cats, 2 dogs (and a snake!). She lets us know if there is anything to be concerned about for the pets, and is a good problem solver. We feel very confident with our fur babies in her care.

Safety, trust & environment
I keep freeze-dried treats to reward the good behavior I notice, and a calm demeanor to handle any behavior of which I disapprove. I'm great at reinforcing good habits and discouraging bad habits. I have lots of energy to play and engage with energetic dogs. I love to see dogs happy! My most favorite thing in the world is seeing a dog's ears and tongue flapping in the wind wide-eyed with its hind legs kicking at his shoulders in high speed sprinting down the sidewalk or through a grassy field. When I drop in, my focus is on the dog's need for attention and care as well as ensuring the place is still hygienic. When I walk, my focus is on the dog's need to release energy (among other things) and stay cool as well as keeping the environment evidence-free. When I house sit, my focus is on command pop-quizzes and finding a spot that's the most cuddle-friendly.
Information Dionna D. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if the dog has any medical issues or allergies, emotional triggers (lunges at dogs, afraid of "intruders," sensitive petting areas, etc) and if there are any commands you'd like me to review while we're together.
A typical day
I love visiting parks and dog parks. We'll walk a bit until all the releasing is done, then we'll jog or even sprint! If we head to the dog park, I'll see about any games the dog wants to play, like Tag, Fetch, or the obstacle course!

Availability
I work in the entertainment industry, so I have stretches of time between gigs to focus 100% on beloved animals. During show time, I'm usually free from 9:00am-4:00pm Monday-Friday. With enough heads up, I can possibly make any time work.
