I think dogs need to release their energy from being home most of the time. I’ll adjust the speed and time of our walk/run according to what your dog desires. They also need love and attention which I will provide. It’s also important that dogs know right from wrong. If you have certain things your dog shouldn’t do I can also be firm and make sure they don’t do that. I use to take care of a large lab/Akita for 5 years and we would go for long walks in the woods. At the end we would both be happy. I also took care of a poodle for about 2 years and was able to teach him a couple of tricks.
