Pitter Patter. Let’s get at ‘er!
Pet care experience
I have walked, housesat, and boarded dogs and cats for over a decade. I grew up with a menagerie of pets of all kinds (big dogs, small dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, guinea fowl, rabbits, turtles, fish) and am an amateur dog masseuse and trainer (competent but not professional). I ran an animal recovery clinic out of my former home and have nursed both senior and juvenile dogs and cats throughout my life. I volunteered with an NGO providing veterinary clinics that worked with distressed stray animals in Central America from Mar 2009 - Aug 2014. My work involved administering medication and performing general health checkups on animals, completing prenatal checkups, administering vaccinations, and performing surgeries. I worked as a recovery nurse for World Vets from Apr 2012-Aug 2014. Trained and practiced as a recovery nurse in pre-op, post-op, and discharge with feral, abused, neglected stray/street dogs and cats.
Reviews
If I could rate Dina higher than 5 stars I honestly would. This was my first experience with using the Rover app and I am beyond impressed with how above and beyond Dina took care of my little 8-month old pup Olive. Not only did she provide numerous updates with photos and texts with how much fun Olive was having, she also provided feeding updates, morning texts and was held a very open communication throughout the entire visit. Dina welcomed Olive with open arms into her home and I would do it again and again. THANK YOU DINA for taking care of my little Olive!
Dina is an extremely responsible, loving pet caregiver! She has watched my pet while I was out of town for several weeks and I trust her fully.
We had a fantastic experience with Dina from start to finish and would highly recommend her services. We had a last minute trip out of town and had never left our dog with anyone other than family so we were naturally apprehensive. Dina responds quickly, she is super accommodating and knowledgable/confident about dealing health concerns and medication. We loved that there were no other pets in the home. Dina went out of her way to ensure she was available and our pooch was settled and comfortable in her home. Dina sent regular updates, pictures and included our little guy on so many outings, walks and adventures. He was absolutely well cared for, we felt great from our first meeting to pick up, and we will definitely be return costumers.
Dina is one of the most loving, most nurturing people I know. I’m very picky of who I trust with my dog *insert crazy dog mom* but Dina is one of them. She will make sure any dog is safe and well loved, with LOADS of experience in her lifetime with animals (I ask her for help still to this day and forever will). If you are looking for someone to not only take care of your dog while you’re gone but to treat them like their own then Dina is amazing! Everytime she walks in the door my dog goes bananas for her! Great person loved by both dogs and humans. 💕 Can’t recommend her enough.

I don't currently have pets of my own, but relish any opportunity to get my furry fix with pets of my friends and family. I have walked a wide variety of breeds and grew up with Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Huskies, St. Bernard's, Rottweilers, Boxers, Labradors, Retrievers, and Alsatians (I am very comfortable with energetic and large dogs). As I am looking for a walking/running companion, I will match pace with the energy level and tend to whatever needs your pet may have. I live close to great dog-walking areas and within 3 mins drive of Ospika veterinary hospital.
