My dog and I love to go for walks.

Pet care experience

Salutations, my family and I have raised pure bred boxers for years and we absolutely love them. I currently have a 10 year old boxer who we like to call an old man who is young at heart. He loves to be active, go and explore the outside on our walks and get a lot of attention. It is my pleasure to keep our dog happy and healthy. I have reliable transportaion, am a full time student as well as employed part time. I have experience woking with people and dogs alike and I am a morning person as well. I have dog sat for my relatives and enjoy the company and personalities dogs have to offer. It would be my pleasure to be of assistance with your furry friend as well.

Dimante has dog/house sat for me multiple times and in increasing lengths of time. A few weeks back he watched my puppers for 8 days straight. The doggo loves him so much but what I am the most grateful for is the fact that Dimante agreed to watch my dog, who is special needs and whom most people would pass on watching him (for money, to boot) because he's high maintenance. My dog is diabetic and requires insulin shots twice a day at 8am and 8pm. The shots can be intimidating and the schedule can be hindering to a work, school and/or life schedule but Dimante always makes it work. My dog also requires a special diet and has dietary restrictions. In addition, last summer my dog developed mature cataracts and was 100% blind in both eyes. With all of these things, Dimante had no problem dog sitting so my boyfriend and I could go visit my parents out of state. I felt bad because the blindness was new and we were still developing our routine and I felt like it was a burden to ask Dimante to step in when it was new to us, and moreso to him. My dog wasn't confident in his lack of sight so we had baby gates around the house, the dog had to be walked to/supervised in the backyard multiple times a day (in Michigan cold and rain!), and he had to be directed to his food and water. Dimante didn't hesitate to take on the task. It was a huge weight off my shoulders to enjoy the visit with my parents knowing my dog was in great hands. A few months later I elected to have my dog's cataracts removed. He got his eye sight back but is now on an arsenal of eye medications (which, again, require a regimented schedule) and a few times he has had some follow up procedures that required a cone. Again, Dimante watched him with all the extra tasks and responsibilities with no complaints. Dimante is great with dogs, he has tremendous dedication and work ethic, and I trust him with my dog as much as I trust myself. He has incredible energy and patience and I couldn't ask for more. If you love your dog(s) and think of them as your child like I do, then Dimante is the man you should entrust them to.
