I've always grown up with dogs in my family, and after I moved to Tucson last year I felt incomplete without one. For that reason I adopted my sweet boy Louie, and I've never been happier. I've come to realize that spending time and training dogs is one of my favorite past times, and I would love to add more to the family, but can't afford to. Lou loves dogs more than people (and honestly so do I), so your pup is more than welcome to stay with us if you need us! I'm a medical student, so I study from home on my own schedule (usually 8 hours max) and I only go into school Tuesdays from 1-5 pm Lou (my dog) and I are a very active duo. I make sure to take him to the dog park or on a run every morning to expend some of his puppy energy (he's 13 months) before it gets too hot. I'll also use any excuse to play with him and walk him throughout the day, and I always make sure to set aside time for him and I to just hang out in the evenings. He joins me in our fenced backyard while I study, and he absolutely loves when the neighbor's dog come joins him to play in the backyard. I constantly have had an eye on him since I got him 5 months ago, and the level of respect and training we've gone through together has really blossomed into a great relationship. I use treats, love and a sweet voice to communicate with dogs, and I'll treat your fur baby no differently than I treat mine
