I have been with pets all my life. I am a Third Year Turkish student studying in the Architectural Association in Bloomsbury and I miss my family dog incredibly while I am away from my home in Istanbul. Right now we have a beagle and bearded collie cross bread-a borkie-he is 5 years old and called Benji. We adopted him when he was nearly one years old, and we were his 5th owner, and luckily the last since then. We were said that Benji was incredibly ill mannered while adopting; however this condition was probably due to him being separated from his mother when he was too young, along with the fact that he changed homes too frequently, thus probably had abandonment issues. Upon facing his trust issues for the first three months and taking Benji literally everywhere, we managed to overcome these. Now he gets on with our cat quite well as well. He is a mid sized dog; however, he is quite strong and I can say that I gained quite an experience in walking heavy puller dogs during his first times. Now Benji can successfully walk without a leash. He is truly an amazing friend to have, and I miss him incredibly. Before Benji and along with him as well, I also had two Golden Retrievers as I grew up. The first one, Bud was with my parents before I was born and he was also adopted. He had been an incredible sibling to me as I grew up. He was also adopted because one of my mom’s friends wanted to give away him. We lost Bud when he was 14 and I was 14, and it was one of the hardest things I have been through all my life. 2 years later, we encountered with Lucky as my mom was driving in an intercity high way. He was unknowingly running along the high way, either ran away from his owners or was left alone. We adopted him immediately, he was around 10 years old when we found him. We also built a very strong connection with Lucky, and he was also great friends with our current dog Benji as well. In fact, I used to walk them together, and Lucky was incredibly slow due to age while Benji was incredibly fast, and I could say that I managed to ensure a strong balance when I was walking them together. Lucky also passed away when he was 14 due to old age, and we were heart broken once again. Right now we have Benji and our rescue cat Sherlock, and my parents take care of them while I am away studying. I believe this job would help me to cure my longing for my own dog Benji and enable me to provide my experience of communication and taking care of dogs to those in need. I had also taken care of friend’s dogs in times of need, from Pomeranians, to Shit-Tsu’s to Poodles to Labradors. I also like walking a lot so I would really enjoy strolls with new little friends of mine, without time being a matter. As said I am an architecture student in AA, and we have classes only on Tuesdays and Friday’s, so on the remaining 5 days, I can accommodate my weekly schedule to both spending time with your dogs as in day sits or overnight stays, and also I can take your pets on a lovely stroll for 7 days a week, both in the morning and the evening. I can take care of your pets in your place and take them for a walk. I am not bothered and luckily don't have any allergies so I can provide them the friendliness and intimacy that they like when you are away. I would love to play with them, both in the day and also would love to take care of them for overnight stays.
