Pet care experience
I've owned pets all my life, even to having shown purebreds. Dog breeds include German Shepherds, Collies, Shelties, Bassets and a mutt or two. Loved 'em all. I have some medical background, so your pet will be in good hands, no matter what.

Dick is a true gem! Our dog was in great care during his stay. He was so relaxed and happy when we came to pick him up! Dick treated our dog as his own, so much so that our pup didn’t want to come home with us. We will be booking with Dick again!
Dick watched our dog for two nights and took very detailed loving care of him. We met prior to his stay and Dick asked questions from - “what are his favorite treats” to “specific signals should I look out for”. He was very friendly and our dog was well cared for. Will book again. Thank you Dick !

My experience is that owners do a good job of preparing me to best take care of their dog, including written guidance and instructions. Conversations at drop-off fill in any blanks.
A typical day
I'm up early, so it's not a problem if your dog is an early riser. I walk every morning myself, so your dog will be out for whatever calls, and I will welcome the company. The rest of the day is tailored to the personality of the individual animal. Your dog will be appropriately occupied.

Your pet will be my number one priority. Love included. I occasionally am called away for work, but that is always flexible, and never for more than a couple of hours when I'm pet sitting.
