Pet care experience
I have been taking care of dogs 50+ years, having bred and shown my Collies in the past and have had dogs all my life, my daughter, April, has been with dogs all her life. . I am a retired CNA and am home most of the time and I know how to give shots and medications and can do special needs, I have no problem with insulin injections. I have my and April's two little dogs and 1 cat of my own and April's three-legged cat and they get along very well with each other. I am very concerned about the comfort and happiness of your dog and will provide the dependable care and attention that he/she requires. I require a meet and greet in advance of the boarding with the dog so you can see where he/she will be staying, check it out and ask me any questions you may have. My house is very secure and has a large fenced-in backyard so the dogs can run free and play. This is a cage free home unless you crate your dog in your own home, whereupon I ask that you provide me with your dog's crate. The house itself has tile floors throughout in case of accidents. There are several toy boxes overflowing with toys in the living room for playing indoors. Your dog will be a part time family member and taken care of as if he/she were my own. I am happy to stay in close contact with you with pictures and emails so you can have complete confidence that your dog is being well taken care of and is as happy as can be. I have transportation, in case of an emergency, and have a valid drivers' license to drive it. I do ask that you provide food, food bowls and vet info, if local, and any bedding or special toys your dog uses, plus any special treats they need. All dogs must be current on rabies vaccinations and flea meds, as are mine. About this sitter: I am 77 years old and retired as a CNA/data entry clerk. I have had dogs all my life and cats almost as long. Was Secretary/Treasurer to a kennel club many years ago and showed my Collies in New York over 30 years ago. I bred the Collies and Persian/Himalayan cats for many years and dearly love to watch kittens play. Why I love dog sitting Been a dog lover for about the 79 years I've been on this earth. We had mutts at first, then a Cocker Spaniel, then a Pekinese and when I got married I had a Cocker Spaniel and when my son was about 1 (yrs old) I got my first Collie. Have had Collies ever since then, except when I adopted 2 Cockers in New York and brought them down to Florida with me in 1992. My last Collie was just put down due to a brain tumor last Oct. 2018. About my yard Totally fenced in and about the size of two lots.

I have a large fenced in yard and two little dogs to keep them company. I take them out back several times a day so they get fresh air and exercise. I charge the same whether it's a holiday or not and your dog is treated the same as mine are.

Just need to know that our cats won't be chased, they don't need to be scared in their own home! I do not accept Siberian Huskies, Great Danes, Samoyeds, Chow Chows, Rottweillers, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, or Pit Bull-American Staffordshire Terriers/mixes. Please don't bring me any of these or you won't get in the door. I also do not accept unaltered dogs.
A typical day
Your dog's sleeping arrangement Wherever he/she is used to sleeping or wants to sleep, as long as no one else is already there. Time I'll spend with your dog I'm home all of the time and these guys are my kids.
Services
Dianne can host
Availability
I am retired and disabled with a mobility issue so I am here most all the time and able to give them 24 hr care and companionship, like I do with my own two. My disability necessitates my walking with a walker but in no way hinders my ability to care for them any less and my daughter, April, lives with me and does anything I can't do.
