We recently lost our beloved dog Lexi (Boxer/Mastiff cross) and are craving the need for furry baby love. I have had pets my whole life but now with no babies at all I miss the walks, cuddles, petting and just the furry love. We are a very active couple and I have the flexibility to come home from work during the day and being 3 mins from home. I worked as a volunteer for the SPCA through high school and have experience with care of dogs, cats, horses and small pets and birds. Our dog was a rescue with the odd quirk which allows me to read an animal's needs, behaviours, strength in walking as well as we keep a well managed home routine and can offer so much care and kindness to your pet. About our home: (see our pictures) We have a completely fenced yard with a locked gate and a sensor flood light to ensure your dog's safety at night. It also triggers as a caution if there happens to be a skunk or raccoon in our yard. We have a fish pond which we can gate off if it is a hazzard or a temptation for your dog. We stay outside with your dog at all times for safety and it is always an excellent opportunity for play time. Inside our home: (see pictures) We try our best to keep our home tidy and free of items that could be chewing/choking opportunities. We have stairs on two levels (mobility issues). Our sectional is covered with soft blankets and pillows for cuddling, if our house guest is allowed on furniture. We make our home warm, welcoming and safe for your pet's stay with us.
