Retiring! Now I can do what I love!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Diane and I’m so excited to meet you and your pets! I’m a life-long animal lover and currently have 3 fur-babies; 2 Golden Retrievers and 1 wonderful poodle mix rescue. I’ve been a Registered Nurse for over 40 years and now that I’m retiring I’m thrilled to be able to help you and your furry family members. We have used pet sitters over the years while we’ve been away from home so I know how critical it is that you feel comfortable with your pet sitter. I am very comfortable walking your dogs, playing with your pets, giving medications and engaging them in all kinds of fun activities. My Goldens came to us as puppies when I was volunteering for a service dog organization. I raised them and worked closely with the professional trainers for 2 years each to teach them many skills and learn how to assess their behaviors. My kids were “career changed” due to medical issues so they could not be placed as service dogs but they were able to remain with me forever. The training I received during that time is invaluable to how I assess and work with animals to this day.

You won’t be disappointed if you choose Diane to watch your furry family member! From her communication, her amazing daily photos/viseo, the questions she ask about your pet, her prompt responses, is nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend having her watch your pet!

Diane has all of the qualities I am looking for in a petsitter. She moved into my home for the duration of her stay, and spent quality time with Blitz and Tigger. Having her take such good care of my dogs allowed me to thouroughly enjoy my vacation. Thank you, Diane!!

Diane was amazing with our dogs. Sending us pictures of them playing, napping and just hanging out. We chose her because of her involvement with the different organizations and her proven passion for the care of dogs. She is our goto whenever we have to be away from our fur-children.

Information Diane B. would like to know about your pet

I’ll want to know what a normal routine is for your pets: feeding times, diet, medications, things that cause stress or anxiety etc…. Keeping your pets routine similar to when you are home is one of the perks of having a pet sitter in your home.

A typical day

I love stimulating your dogs’ minds as well as taking care of their exercise needs. Snuffle mats, intelligence games and clicker training are some of the fun things we can do together.
