I’m a major animal lover and have grown up with dogs and cats all my life. I currently have 2 cats, but have found myself dog sitting more and more often. Although all of my childhood/high school best friends (all 5 of them!) were dog lovers/owners, It wasn’t until I went to UC Davis and lived with a pre-veterinary student (now veterinarian) and help watch her moderately sized Australian Shepherd mix for 3 years, that I got major dog caring experience. Since then, I have become the unofficial cat and dog watcher of friends. I’ve done a bit of Cat sitting, interestingly, for those who have pairs of cats. On a monthly basis, I have also been been boarding a corgi mix who thinks she’s a cat and loves cats! Since I had I unofficially gotten myself into this lifestyle, and know how often pet owners need pet sitters, I thought it made sense to extend my services outside my immediate friends circle. A little more about myself, I am rather energetic, I enjoy training in various martial arts forms (Wu Shu, Muay Thai, and Brazillian Jiu Jitsu), running spartan races (obstacle courses), and I bring that aspect to my dog sitting! Aside from walking your dogs, I will run with them as well! Although, I have found a few who would rather stroll at a leisurely pace, and I can accommodate that as well. :) I love playing with dogs - fetch, toys, racing, tug of war, laser pointers, you name it!
