Pet care experience
I have a cat and have taken care of cats since I was 6. I also worked in a veterinary office briefly as a caretaker for the cats there. I have taken care of dogs some as well.

I will not have pets at my home as I do not have a large enough home for this. At a client's home I will feed and clean up after pets. If the pet is snuggly or playful I will play or cuddle with them on their terms, as specified by the pets owner. I can also give oral medications to cats and dogs.

I would like to know everything you can tell me! Most important is any medical concerns but I would also like to know their routine, personality, preferences for attention and play etc.
A typical day
I like to ask exactly what type of attention and play your pet wants so I can provide what they are used to and prefer. I love to go for a nice run/walk with your dog and play fetch, tug of war, etc. whatever makes them happy. I like to hike and if your dog enjoys more exercise I would love to take them to peebles island for a short, dog friendly hike.

I am a graduate student at RPI so aspects of my schedule are somewhat flexible, my availability varies from week to week, however I can usually work around things if I’m given enough notice.
