Dog Lover of all Breeds and Needs!

Pet care experience

Hello and thank you for visiting our page! My partner, Emily, and I are excited to meet and host your dog(s)! We are located in Mid-City, which has easy access to parks and beaches; perfect for any furry friend. We've both been in the dog sitting world for many years - I've lost count by now - and am looking to make some more connections of owners looking for sitters. We have each watched a number of different breeds with varying levels of activity and needs - teething pups in training; very anxious & active breeds; even caring for a dog with severe health issues that required a daily shot. Regardless of the age, health, size, breed of your dog, I'm excited at the prospects of meeting your pup. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions or special requests - we are firm believers of sticking to schedules and/or rules of your home, so I'd be sure to uphold any expectations that you have as an owner for your dog. At the end of the day, I'll be sure your dog is well loved and receives a lot of attention. Looking forward to meeting with you and your pup! Thank you for reading! Diana & Emily

Diana and Emily were such wonderful hosts! I am so grateful to have found them! My pooch had an amazing time, got plenty of exercise, and adored their dog! I felt my pooch was in safe and responsible hands. I got plenty of updates and photos. Highly recommend and will definitely use them again. :)

Had such a great experience with Diana. She was super accommodating and consistently kept me updated. My dog had so much fun and they made me feel comfortable that he was well taken care of. Thank you for taking such good care of my little man !

Dianan was fantastic! She took great care of both pups, one of them being a puppy. Would definitely use her again!

Safety, trust & environment

We live on the top floor of a two-story duplex. There is ample space in our two bedroom home for your dog to wander - even some backyard space to stretch their legs. We do have a bunny, a few chickens, and quail in our backyard, but they are securely fenced in so there will be no mingling with your dog. Our neighborhood is very walkable, so we can accommodate as many walks and dog park visits as your dog will allow. We are happy to uphold any training or rules you/your family has already established (i.e., access to furniture, crate training, diets, etc.) Our goal is to make the stay as comfortable for you the owner, as it is for your dog - you are in great hands with us!

Information Diana S. would like to know about your pet

It would be helpful for us to know in advance if your dog has any triggers or sensitivities so we can be aware of them when outside or within our home. We wouldn't want to add stress to your dog in any way, and knowing these triggers in advance would be greatly helpful (i.e., aggression towards other dogs, fearful of loud noises such as fireworks, jumping at skateboarders or bikers). We have a very sweet and social 40lbs dog ourselves, so it would also be great to get a sense for how your pup does around other dogs. If they, too, are social or enjoy some chasing/wrestling every now and again, I’m sure we’ll get along great! As mentioned above, Emily and I have worked with dogs of all breeds, so as long as we communicate about your dog's needs, we should be good!

A typical day

This is our family’s current routine but always willing to adjust with more/less activity as your pup requires: As remote workers, we have a pretty wonderful routine that allows for flexibility and lots of time outdoors. We start our day with a 20 minute walk of the neighborhood with our dog, Miller. After working a few hours from our home offices, we like to take a 45 minute lunch walk. Something to try and get the energy out. In the evenings, after work, we'll explore a bit more, taking into consideration how much energy still needs to be expended (or if cuddles are in order). If it's the weekend, then anything goes! We have a truck so no pup is too big for us to travel with, should we want to go to the coast or visit a park further away (so long as you feel comfortable with that, which we would discuss in advance). All in all, our household has a pretty active and outdoor lifestyle as it is, and we welcome any furry friend to join us for the fun!

Both of us work from home so your dog will always have someone nearby. We both enjoy taking walks or going on runs, and we'd be happy to incorporate your dog into our daily routine. If your dog requires a bit more activity, we can easily make time throughout the day to go to the dog park or visit a beach - if that is something your dog would enjoy! We maintain a pretty easy going home, and believe that energy will help ease any anxieties your dog may feel in a new space.
