Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting for 10 years now. I've pet sat from the littlest baby chihuahua who had lost her mom and needed extra snuggles, to great danes who have had major anxiety issues. I've stayed with pets as well as have had them stay with me, including a very nosy potbelly pig! It always just depended on what made them most comfortable. I have the upmost passion and patience for all animals and care for each like they were my own. I grew up with with great danes, dalmations and labs. I've always known that I never wanted to be without the company of an animals love. I couldn't imagine myself ever not wanting to surround myself with the love and joy animals bring me.

Diana has watched my dog numerous times over the years. She is very good about keeping him on his daily routine. She treats my dog as her own and my dog absolutely loves being with her. Diana is the best! She is super attentive, warm, and wonderful with animals. I have had the pleasure of working with her over the last 6 months. Diana is flexible with schedules, even last minute trips. Coal, my dog, loves to go to see Diana! Coal has done overnight stays with Diana and is very content while he is there. I receive updates and pictures as to how he is doing while I am away which is wonderful as any pet owner likes to be sure that their furry friend is in caring hands. I absolutely recommend Diana for anyone who is looking for someone with experience with animals and takes excellent care of your pet!!
Diana absolutely loves animals. I wouldn't trust anyone else to leave my dog with. She is very engaging with him, always talking to, walking and playing with. My dog loves her and gets very excited when he sees her.

I have 4 acres for your animal to roam! I do have chickens, ducks and a potbelly pig who all roam free on the land, but if your animal needs to be on a leash, or is more comfortable at home, I'm willing to adapt to their needs to make sure everyone is safe.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs (allergies, prescription food, or a modified diet for weight management). Remember that this can be a stressful time for your pet, which may affect his or her appetite and/or personality. If there's a favorite toy, blanket, or something specific that is comforting to them please feel free to let me know! I'm used to high anxiety dogs. Years ago I had adopted a beagle who was saved from a puppy mill. She didn't trust many people and her favorite thing to do was to be right by my side. Since this was impossible to do 24/7 I had to learn ways to calm her while I was at work (music, a shirt that smelled like me, her favorite stuffed animal). Lastly, please make sure I have all vet and emergency contact information. Hopefully I won't need to use this, but if something should happen under my care, I need to take action right away!
A typical day
I love being outside! If your pet is trained off the leash we can play frisbee or go roaming through my woods. if they are okay with car rides, I would love to take them to one of the many parks or trails I live near. The beach is always an excellent time to get those noses full of salt air, sand and different smells as well!!

Availability
I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time to give your animals all the attention they need and deserve! I have an extremely friendly dog and cat that love company, so I'll be available for boarding as long as your pet is friendly with others!
