I live 10 minutes from Pittsburgh International Airport I HAVE OVER 25 YEARS EXPERIENCE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS AND SENIOR DOGS: I have owned and cared for special needs dogs administering medication and providing special diets for the following medical issues: Heart, Lung, Kidney, Cushings, Skin/Atopic dematitis issues, Blind and Deaf dogs, Feeding tube care and cleaning, Administering eye drops, ear drops, arthritis and more. My home is spacious and safe. Quiet areas available if your dog prefers. I have two friendly small dogs, a dachshund mix (male 25 lbs) and chihuahua (female 11 lbs), Fenced yard with five foot vinyl fencing and flat, clean yard. Peaceful setting. No children in home...only two responsible adults. Rates are negotiable depending on need, location etc. I'm flexible. About this sitter: I am reliable, detail-oriented, and will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are well taken care of, fed on time, given extra attention and go to potty regularly. A couple of my own dogs have special needs due to their age, diet, and handicap). I am experienced in being able to handle them correctly. I am experienced in handling many large and small breed dogs and have worked in animal rescue for years. I will take care of other types of pets too, cats, birds, fish, rabbits etc. Will bring in mail while away, feed pets, administer medication etc. as needed for small extra fee. I live in the Hopewell area about 10 minutes from the Pittsburgh airport area so would be available for daily walking, feeding your pet if you live within 20 mile radius of 15001. Outside of that area would be considered on case-by-case basis. I can do overnight sitting in my home for smaller dogs. Larger dogs are welcome too as long as they are friendly with small dogs. Why I love dog sitting: I have been an animal lover my entire life. Have volunteered at shelters, personally transported abandoned dogs and cats from Florida to loving homes in Pennsylvania. Donated for surgeries and to several rescue organizations. Believe animals should be treated like family. Experience with small and large breed dogs and special needs, senior, handicapped, those requiring special meds and feeding. Diana was great with our boxer puppy. We did a meet and greet ahead of time to ensure it would be a good fit. I felt comfortable with Diana caring for our puppy. She has a dog friendly home. Our puppy got plenty of exercise and Diana kept in touch throughout the day to let me know how everything was going.
Diana is an excellent choice as a caretaker for your pet. She is dependable, trustworthy and a very compassionate animal lover. She cared for my special needs three legged pitbull mix for over a year and has three dogs of her own that she treats like children. She would take excellent care of your pets!
