Pet care experience
I'm a proud dog mom of a 12 year old GSD. I trained him from his puppy years and he's living his best life as he spends some time with his grandparents now that I no longer live in a home with a yard. I made sure to train him on a leash, made sure he knew that the inside is NOT a bathroom, and that sometimes dogs are just gonna bark at him and he has to be cool as a cucumber. Now that he's living with his grandparents I made sure to introduce him to their much smaller puppy and the two are best of friends! Pups are not the only dogs I've taken care of, there have been many friends with senior dogs that I have dog-sat for, that have included, talking slower walks,(some even in a wagon) making sure regular meds are taken on time and cleaning up when they just missed the mark on making it outdoors.

I have known Diana for years and her love for dogs grows just as much as my love for her grows. She is so kind and gentle with these fur babies. Unlimited scruffies, lots of love, and lots of treats are what your furry friends will receive.
I've known Diana for years and seen first hand how much she loves and cares for animals, especially dogs. She has a true passion for all dogs, always wanting to stop and say hi if she walks by one and always taking the time to pamper them and take care of them. She has one of her own, who is truly her child and it shows in the way in which she cares for him. I'd trust her to take care of my pets.

Caring for pets has always been about safety for me, with clear communication on what areas are fur baby approved and what a healthy diet for each individual pet looks like (ie. treats that are allowed and not allowed) I am sure trust can be built with any fur baby that feels safe. I also take great care in making sure walks are taken durning times that the ground is at a safe temperature for those sensitive paws!
Information Diana L. would like to know about your pet
I do appreciate knowing ahead of time if there is a particular route they are accustomed to when walking. If there is any medication that causes drowsiness or on the other end of the spectrum, high energy. If I would have to administer pills, give them a tick or flea treatment or make sure they need any ointments applied. I am very careful when taking them out and keeping their paws protected so if there are special booties they need to wear for day time walks or if I might need to carry any pets that lay down once they are tired and need help getting back home. As well as how reactive a dog can be during walks, such as with other dogs, a squirrel, or with busy intersections/streets.
A typical day
Depending on the weather and what the dog comfort levels are, we can be going on a hike, or a walk through a park. I do like to be active with dogs especially bigger breeds, since they are tend to have higher energy, I found that they enjoy longer walks, with sniff stops on their adventures. if the weather however is not ideal then I do enjoy giving dogs treat puzzles its very adorable watching them solve puzzles.

Availability
Currently part time with a flexible schedule to take a walk, hike, or run at a few hours notice. Overnight pet sitting can be scheduled a few days in advance in order to make sure I can spend the most amount of time with your fur baby so they don't feel your absence for too long!
