Full time dog mom. ALL dogs welcome

Pet care experience

Welcome fellow pooch lovers! My name is Diana & I’ve been a self-employed full-time dog walker for over 3yrs. I walk dogs of all sizes & temperaments - from >100lb rescue Pitbulls to precious little Miniature Schanusers that could fit in my pocket. ALL dogs are welcome with me. The poochies that I care for are my whole world & I work hard to make sure their humans are 100% happy with every booking WHY CHOOSE ME? • Caring for dogs is my full-time job & I have no conflicting priorities. Nothing will come between me & taking care of your pup • When you’ve looked after as many dogs as I have you develop a sixth sense for doggy behaviour & eyes in the back of your head...I have a lot of experience with dogs who are unruly on the leash/bark & snap at other dogs or humans/pull aggressively & I can tell you that it’s not going to be a problem with me. I walk dogs at THEIR comfort level, not mine, & I know what’s safe & what’s not • As my doggy’s human, your satisfaction is very important to me. My aim is to make your time away from your pup as stress-free & relaxed as possible. I work for myself & decide my own schedule, & thus have the ability to customise bookings according to what you & your dog need. I take last minute requests, I work evenings/weekends/holidays & I’m always in the Huntington Beach area - it’s very rare that I’m unable to take a booking • EVERY booking receives the following for EVERY visit: water change, potty break, detailed updates & photos, Rover Walk Card (incl. map of walk, distance, time & my notes), my undivided attention to your pup’s care • New customers receive a FREE Meet & Greet before your booking, at a place, date & time of your choice • Free key collection & drop off before & after booking (if required) I love to chat to my customers - if you have any questions just pick up the phone & give me a call or send me a message, I’d love to hear from you!

She has a key to my house after watching my dogs several times and never replied or returned my key.

Diana is extraordinary good pet sitter, always finding ways to keep my dog entertained when I’m not around which ibino was can be tricky sometimes. She’s very attentive, caring and professional.

Diana was fabulous! We loved getting her daily emails with pictures, & it was comforting knowing our 2 rescue labs were so happy & well cared for. Besides walking & feeding them she also spent time training them! They walk better on leash now & take their treats calmly. We are so pleased by Diana that we have already booked her for all of our upcoming trips!

Information Diana K. would like to know about your pet

I love taking care of ALL dogs, every dog no matter what size, breed or temperament is welcome with me. Here are a few things I’ll need to know at our meet & greet: • Food (how much, how often, where is it) • Walk preferences (time of day, are dog parks ok, is car travel ok) • Key & gate fob location/entrance codes • Medication (if any) • Other pets to take care of (I have experience with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, bearded dragons, geckos but welcome any animal of any kind!)

A typical day

As a pooch-lover yourself you’ll know that every pup is unique - & as such will have different needs during our outings together. I’ll customise my time with your doggy so that they feel safe, happy & stimulated every time we leave the house. Here’s a few examples: • Hyper Poochies: When dogs have a ton of energy the best way to tire them out is to combine physical exercise with mental stimulation e.g. dog park/beach, walk around PetSmart/Home Depot, playing ball/frisbee • Nervous Poochies: We’ll start with walking in very quiet neighbourhood, progressing (at your pup’s comfort level & pace) to streets with other humans/dogs & increasing confidence through repetition of good experiences using treats as distraction. • ‘Aggressive’ (aka Anxious) Poochies: Most doggies come across as angry when they feel very confused or very threatened - in my opinion it’s rare that a dog is actually inherently aggressive. This means the dog’s behaviour can be modified by changing 1) environment - at first these pups need to be walked away from other dogs to keep everybody safe 2) atmosphere - when these lil guys feel the person on the other end of the leash is in charge, they are less likely to feel protective or territorial - which cuts your problems in half right away.
