I would prefer to care for any small breeds e.g Shih Tzu, Mix breed or Bichon Frise. I've been a dog lover since my childhood. Dogs form a part in our family history. We cared for dogs most part of our life. Over the the past years me and my husband cared for two dogs. Tyler, he died due to ill health and then we had Murphy. Having dogs in the family and cared for them is a great fun and immensely rewarding. But it is also a big responsibility. As I know dogs have very complex needs so looking after them well can be challenging. There is no perfect way to care for all dogs because everyday and every situation is different. It's up to you how you care for your dog but you must take reasonable steps to ensure that you meet all dog's needs. The last dog we cared for was around few years ago. That was Murphy who belong to my husband's daughter. He loved children and babies and other dogs too. He was very protective. After the arrival of their first baby, he became very demanding, disobedient and difficult to handle. They had consulted dog therapist and behavioural expert without much success. Eventually they sent it to us to care for him. We looked after him for few years. He was very happy to stay with our company. We gave him good training. He was well behaved, very clever and learnt things very quickly. I took very good care of him, playing, running around in the garden and in the park. We did not have any problem with him. He coped very well with us. He understood our likes and dislikes. He never came in to the house with muddy feet. He used to wait for me to wipe his feet. He liked to be praised. It was a pleasure having him around. Eventually we had to re- home him because of my husband's health issues. I still miss him. So for that reason I would like to be a Dog Sitter. I don't have children. We're free to care and to give the love and affection that dogs need.
