Dexter and Veronica are two dog lovers who have over 10 years of experience taking care of dogs. They have experience with both puppies and older dogs, as well as small and big dogs. Veronica grew up with a German shepherd, while Dexter grew up helping to take care of his neighbors cocker spaniel. Later in life, Veronica helped her sister take care of three pitbull mixes, and Dexter helped raise a miniature Australian shepherd. During the pandemic, Veronica and Dexter adopted a German Shepherd dog from the Humane Rescue Alliance. They brought the dog to obedience, agility and scent work class. He was the best boy but unfortunately he passed away unexpectedly in his sleep. After the grieving process, they brought home Biggie, the rambunctious, goofy Australian Shepherd. Biggie is now 1 years old and has earned his AKC Puppy STAR, Canine Good Citizen., and Trick Dog Advanced. Dexter and Veronica are committed to lots of positive reinforcement and the belief that a tired dog (mentally and physically) is good dog! Dexter currently works from home full time, while Veronica works in the hospital. Veronica, Dexter and Biggie are all fully vaccinated. Dexter and Veronica have a spacious townhome. They are close to two parks and are able to provide lots of socialization and exercise. They provide dog treats, toys and puzzles for guest dogs as well. Prior to booking, a standard questionnaire will be sent out to clients to ensure your dog has a personalized care experience.
