Pet care experience
I grew up with multiple dogs in the house, and learned early on how to care for their needs. I’ve also owned smaller critters and have a love for all animals! I’ve chosen not to have animals for now because I travel to see family, but would love to take care of a furry friend anytime! I’ve taken care of puppies all the way to elder dogs, I have experience with low level training and care of pups with needs, including giving medicine. I’ve especially had experience with deaf animals over the years, my brother owns a deaf boxer that I’ve cared for many times. I can’t imagine life without my furry companions, and would love to get to know yours!

Devon was wonderful with Leo. She was very patient with him the first day when he was anxious and by the time we picked him up he was very happy and sad to leave Devon’s care. She is a wonderful help and gave us real peace of mind. I highly recommend her!!
Devon was great!! She made sure to check in on our cat daily and while Veeo isn’t the most personable cat Devon made sure to spend a little time with her and when she realized Veeo was agitated she left to let V be on her own. We are so relieved to have a reliable person to give us a piece of mind when we were able to be home. And we’ll continue to use her in the future!
Devon took great care of our 2 dogs - 1 adult and 1 puppy. She communicated clearly with us throughout the booking, and was flexible in accommodating our schedule changes. When we picked up our pups after their 3 day stay, they seemed happy, healthy and well-attended-to. She has our recommendation!
Devon is one of the best pet sitters I know! She is both great at taking care of dogs with lots of different needs (medicine, picky eaters, dogs that don't get along with other dogs), but she has a great time with them in the process. Devon is also extremely professional, working with us beforehand to make sure she knows exactly what she needs to do in regards to feeding, walking, or even watering our plants when she house sits. I can't recommend her enough!

I live in an apartment on the UConn Storrs campus, I do not have a fenced yard, but can take as many walks as needed! I live in a quiet area, with mostly older graduate students around me. The complex is surrounded by woods, so it is not in the center of campus. I live by myself, in a 2 bedroom apartment, and do not have any pets. I have a calm and clean environment in my apartment, perfect for any animal! I have nearby trails for more active animals, and plenty of couches and beds for more sedentary friends!

I work full time at UConn, but am currently working from home. I have a very flexible schedule, so any walks can be accommodated. I am very flexible, and would enjoy both long and short term stays.
