Bulldog Owner Missing My Own
I’ve had two English Bulldogs for over 15 years, which gave me firsthand experience with everything from puppy energy to senior care. Back home in Philly, I also babysat family friends’ dogs of all kinds — Golden Retrievers, Labs, Pitbulls, and more — so I’m comfortable with all sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. On top of dogs, I’m also the proud “uncle” to my brother and his fiancée’s two kittens, so I know my way around cats just as well. What sets me apart is my ability to adapt to each pet’s unique needs: Puppies: potty training, leash training, and safe play. Senior pets: slower walks, medication reminders, and gentle care. Bulldogs / special breeds: I understand breed-specific needs like breathing issues and joint sensitivity. Since I work fully remote, I have the flexibility to give pets plenty of attention, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Most importantly, I’ll treat your pets like family — because that’s exactly how I’ve treated mine for over 15 years.

Devon did a wonderful job of taking care of our senior dog Mollie, who has separation anxiety. As a result, she usually doesn’t eat for a day or two once we leave her with a sitter. With Devon, however, she ate a full meal within an hour or two of our leaving so I know she felt comfortable in his care. He communicated with us promptly and sent pictures to assure us of Mollie’s well being while we were away. I would not hesitate to recommend Devon as a very caring and reliable dog sitter and plan to call upon him for future trips.
Devon took wonderful care of our sweet Ruby at the last minute when other plans fell through! He took her out and kept her safe, gave us updates and sent pictures. Very communicative and I could see that ll that he really enjoyed having her. We would leave our previous dog with him again anytime!! Thanks Devon!!!
Devon is the best! He watched my dog Cleo, and he did a great job treating her like his own! He is very trustworthy and communicable! He also makes it a point to get some long walks in which I really appreciate. Highly recommend if you need a dog sitter in the Charleston area! They will be in good hands with Devon.

Schedule
I work fully remote and have a very flexible daily routine, which gives me plenty of time to care for pets throughout the day. I take a full hour lunch break every afternoon, which is perfect for walks, drop-ins, or playtime. Since I’m home during the day, I can give lots of attention, snuggles, and regular potty breaks for pets in my care. Evenings and weekends are wide open for longer walks, overnight care, or boarding. Whether you need a midday drop-in, daily walks, or someone to keep your pets company overnight, I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs.

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly environment where they’ll feel at ease. I’m mindful of keeping doors secured, removing hazards, and making sure pets have access to fresh water, safe play areas, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect I’d want for my own. I follow all instructions closely — from feeding schedules and walk routines to medication or special care needs. I send regular updates and photos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away. With over 15 years of experience around dogs (including Bulldogs, Retrievers, Pitbulls, and Labs) and cats, I understand how to adapt to different temperaments and needs. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, or requires a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for.
A typical day
A typical day with me means plenty of activity, attention, and love. For dogs, that could include neighborhood walks, fetch in the yard, or exploring nearby parks (depending on their energy level). I balance exercise with downtime — belly rubs, naps, and snuggles are just as important as play. For cats, I make sure they get engaging playtime with toys, scratching posts, and lots of affection if they want it — or space if they prefer to lounge and observe. Throughout the day, I keep their routines consistent with feeding, potty breaks, and check-ins. My goal is to make every pet feel happy, safe, and cared for, whether it’s keeping up with an energetic pup or making a shy kitty feel comfortable.
