Pet care experience
Having worked in a kennel and assisted in a veterinarian office, I have a soft spot for special needs animals. My favorite pups tend to have incontinence or mobility issues, are blind or deaf, but have big beautiful souls that I just want to pamper and care for. Growing up, I even whelped a litter of pit bulls as well as a litter of french bulldogs. All healthy. :) I'm free every day from 6am until my 4pm-10pm shift at my job across the street from my apartment. During boarding, during my work break, I will walk the pup! I will text photos of myself feeding, walking, and caring for your pet so that you can have peace of mind while you're away from your angel! In general, I will pay strict adherence to your instructions for care, because Im VERY picky about how my own pups have been cared for! I love smaller, older dogs. Comfortable with giving medication, insulin injection, tending to sickly pups. I fear no mess and love all four legged babies!

Devon LOVES dogs. Shes dog sat other peoples dogs and she also did a dog walking thing. Whenever I see her with her dogs she always lights up. I think she would really be great as a dog caregiver. I would trust her with my dog no hesitation.
I know Devon as a good friend and as a co-worker. She is incredibly hard-working and attentive in caring for both her own dogs and those she has worked with professionally. Animal care is a personal passion for Devon, but also something she takes very seriously. While working at other pet care facilities, I know Devon has always been acutely mindful of the experience had by each dog and she has worked very hard both personally and with her superiors and co-workers to improve that experience. Beyond her love for animals, I can also attest to Devon’s general dedication and involvement with any work she does. She becomes intimately engaged with her work and takes real pride in making both human and non-human customers happy.
Devon is the very best person I know who would be wonderful and caring--not only with dogs--but all domestic animals. I have seen her interact with pets since she was a toddler, and she has an innate kindness and love for these animals. It almost seems as if she was born with these feelings! In addition to being great with animals, she's also a mature, intelligent, and thoroughly responsible individual; she's going thru college and working as well. I can't recommend her highly enough!
I’ve known Devon for quite some time and her devotion to dogs, both hers and her own, is like nothing I’ve ever seen before. She’s caring, attentive, and above all else, committed. Devon was built for this job and I have no doubt she will be an excellent dog sitter.

I would just appreciate a general run-down of their personality. Are they triggered by noise? Are they allergic to anything? Are they averse to other dogs, children, or strangers on the street? Are they barkative? I will not be turned off by a "difficult dog". If anything, I embrace the challenge of making them as comfortable and happy as possible. My only preference is that they are not much bigger than a 30lb bulldog.
A typical day
I have a padded doggy stroller for pups up to 30lbs, so if your dog is arthritic or bracycephalic with severe breathing issues, I can take him out for "strolls" using that around the Waltham Common, just a 3 minute walk from my apartment. If your dog can run, I regularly jog around that park as well, and I am more than happy to do some cardio exercise with your pup! Whatever your pup is like, we can go out on the Charles River bike path and immerse ourselves in fresh air. If your pup has a favorite toy or security blanket, I would love to be able to use it with them!
