Since I was a small child my mother and I rescued animals. We always chose the ones less likely to be adopted. The old, and oftentimes grumpy, ones were our favorite. I animal sat our neighbors hundreds of animals she adopted, fostered, and rescued, too. And while living in LA walked and hiked with several dogs consistently. Throughout my life, and with all my furry babies, I have learned the importance of caring for and loving animals that have had challenges in life—whether it be psychologically or physical ailments. I have to honestly say I know a lot about giving love to animals, about being able to read and respond to their body language, and how to prioritize their needs. I hope to share that with your dog, too.
