*** To ensure that our canine guests get adequate attention, we limit bookings to 2 dogs at any given time (provided temperaments align).*** Note: Puppy rates apply to pups under 10lbs. $25 per day surcharge for larger dogs over 25lbs.*** We are an animal loving home with an affinity for dogs (seriously, we humans don’t deserve dogs - they’re the best). We’ve always had a family dog around ever since I was a child, and we currently have two loving and well mannered (but extremely spoiled) Maltipoos who’ve been a part of our family for almost 10 years. I’d say I’m a genuine animal lover. I donate to the ASPCA monthly, and any other animal cause when I am able. In addition to spoiling our own maltipoos, I’ve fostered many dogs through the local rescue until they have been able to find their forever home. Many of the dogs I’ve fostered have been seniors with special needs, so I’m well versed with different medical conditions and administering various types of medications. We are sensitive to dietary restrictions but do like to make simple home cooked meals for our pups (and are happy to share with canine guests if parents are ok with dog-safe spiced chicken meals).

We can’t recommend Devin enough! This was our first time booking with Rover, we are so happy we found this loving home for our pup, Rylee. Devin is a true dog lover and his place is really a puppy resort. Devin’s house has a park across the street, during her stay, Rylee went to lots of walks and enjoyed outdoor time daily. Nala & Simba, Devin’s dogs, are adorable. Really quickly Rylee became one of the pack and became BFF with Simba! Devin was very accommodating and helped us to continue with the same rules we have for our pup at home. Rylee came home happy, well fed and clean. So happy we found a second family for Rylee! She will be back :) Thanks Devin!!
This was our first time using Devin as our sitter for 2 dogs and we found him to be caring, mature and responsible. We will definitely use his services again. He offered clear and responsive communications, as well as shared photos of how the stay was going with our pets (rest, play, and walks). The initial days of your dogs stay are spent giving your pups plenty of attention (and treats) to gain their trust and companionship. Our home is “doggy proofed” with laminate flooring and leather furniture that’s easy to clean, so pups are totally welcome to relax on the couch and watch animal planet or be wherever a human is. If puppy is not potty trained, we have have spacious kennels for your pup to lounge in and are happy to help with housebreaking. If your dog appreciates their own space but needs to be kept separate, baby gates allow for pups to have their own area to themselves. The home truly is a doggie resort, with ample indoor and gated outdoor space to play, along with a private community park and hiking trails. During the day, your dog is welcome to hang out wherever the humans of the house are, and will get frequent outdoor breaks (every couple of hours). After a long day of adventure, pups can rest and rejuvenate in our master bedroom - so that they are never far away from a human in case there is anything they need.

A few things we’d like to know before accepting reservations: your pets temperament? Fixed/spayed ? Get along with other dogs ? Last set of shots, and which shots included (medical record ideal)? Most recent flea/tick treatments? Any dietary preferences or restrictions ? Any special needs we need to be aware of and medication schedule ?
A typical day
The home has plenty of space to roam (both inside and out). We prefer to leave dogs free to roam and be comfortable here - relaxing on the couch and watching TV is totally fine ! Current pet residents play in the large park across the street several times a day, hike through the hillsides in our neighborhood, and run around in our large fenced backyard to burn off energy in between. We have dog toys and plenty of treats to go around. If your puppy needs a bit of extra pampering, we have plenty of doggy beauty products to give your dog a proper spa session, so that he/she comes back home smelling extra clean and looking extra nice. Otherwise, we take extra initiative to bond with your pup, so the next time they come over… they are excited to be with the sitters again. :)
