I've always been absolutely in love with dogs, but growing up, my mother never let me have one of my own. Instead, I loved the dogs that belonged to my friends and family. I took care of them as often as I could, visited their homes so that I could play with them, etc. I am caring and responsible, but most of all I understand that a dog is truly a member of the family.
