Hi! I am an avid animal lover (I’ve had cats and dogs as long as I can remember) and I have had my current cat Stevie for 3 years. I have owned both long and short haired cats of varying breeds and varieties and have experience with cats of all different dispositions! I have owned dogs of verging sized from medium to extra large, and worked with puppies and oldies! I have been a cat and dogsitter on and off for 10 years.

It very important for me to know what makes your dog especially excited, nervous or reactive, especially on walks! If you dog has a favorite game, treat, or toy, I would love to know that as well. I like to know your dog’s general schedule and of course the basics around their behavior and demeanor!
A typical day
I love playing with dogs and finding out their favorite toy or games to play! With my family dog, it’s fetch or tug of war, but taking time for pets and snuggles is equally important!

Availability
I currently work as an English teacher, and I’ve lived in Boston for 7 years, but I’m originally from Maine. I would love to work with cats in and around the Boston/Cambridge area-I have a car so I would be happy to travel to you. Additionally due to my work as a teacher I am off in the summer. I am returning to teaching full time starting the last week of August, so will mostly be available on the weekends, however I potentially would be available during the afternoons or nights (after school!) and during school vacations! My listed Friday availability will typically only be for nighttime check-ins with your pets, so please just keep that in mind when booking! Again just feel free to reach out and ask, even if you don’t see the date open!
