I am an enthusiastic and motivated animal lover with experience in caring for all sorts of furry, feathered and scaly friends. I am eager to send updates, and photos to provide comfort in knowing your dog is having a good time! Each pet is unique and therefore deserving of specialized care. Devin was awesome. She was caring, loving, responsible and dependable. Her communication was excellent. We will book her again in a heartbeat.
Devin has a passion and way with animals that I have not seen before. From a young age she has taken care of people's animals that lived on our street when they went out of town and gained a rapport with all the neighborhood animals. When I leave town (do so frequently for work) there is no person I trust more than Devin with our two dogs.
Devin is an extremely kind person who is sensitive to the feelings of animals of all kinds. But it's not just that she loves dogs, everyone on this app probably (hopefully) does. She definitely knows her stuff as well when it comes to other aspects of care, like what foods to feed, what kind of leads/cages/toys are best, etc. She is a bit shy, but very genuine. If you clearly outline the needs and routines of your pup, Devin will get it done. I also know that she has experience with cats, birds/parrots, and some reptiles. Really an all-around kind of person.

Feeling your home is in safe hands is most important, and your animals should feel safe as well. I have no issue using home security systems, and ensuring your house and belongings are locked and safe, as well as performing small house keeping tasks. Your pets should feel safe too, and I apply multiple techniques to achieve this. I have training from veterinary staff in working with nervous or aggressive dogs, which are often one in the same. Thus, regardless of temperment, you can rest easy knowing your loved fur-baby is safe, and feels safe.

Before taking a pet into my care I prefer to have a working knowledge of their every day routine. What schedule are they used to (bedtime, feeding time, etc)? Do they partake in daily walks or receive night time treats? I also would love to know their preferences! Do they love head scratches? What is their favorite toy/game? I would also like to know of any special needs your dog has and what the proper accommodations are, such as a daily medicine, a disability, or a phobia.
A typical day
Each dog has their favorite activities and I'd love to know what they are! I like to engage dogs in lots of active play time, including tug of war, chase, or fetch. I love to give dogs not only physical, but mental stimulation as well. This can include some light obedince or trick training, or treat treasure hunts! I am also willing to take them on visits to public parks or dog parks if the dog is accustomed to socializing.
