I love dogs, I work from home, and have a flexible schedule. I have one very friendly dog (Sammy) who clearly prefers to have a playmate at times and loves to play in the fenced yard with dogs who have stayed at our house in the past. We regularly help siblings and friends with their dogs and I thought, why not help out strangers as well and bring more playmates around for Sammy! Sammy is about 45lbs, and is a pointer mix with some anatolian shepherd. She loves to play, so we would be ideal sitters for active dogs that like the company of others. We're casual: furniture is fair game, and we don't crate our dog unless necessary. We are active, but at the end of the day we like to relax on the couch and watch TV or movies.

Staying with Devin was a staycation for our dog! Devin and his dog Sammy were the most amazing hosts for our black lab, and I honestly think it was hard for our dog to leave her new best friend Sammy when we came to pick her up from her 1 week stay. Devin sent us so many photos (the highlight of our day since we had never boarded our dog before), which gave us complete peace of mind so we could enjoy our first vacation away from our dog. Devin is obviously a big dog lover, and his dog Sammy is too - we felt really lucky to have found them. The absolute best.
Devin was excellent!! Couldn't recommend him enough. Their place is great, and his services were awesome. Chloe, my 15 week old Rhodesian puppy had a great day playing hard with Sammy then taking naps and relaxing. Devin kept me updated and was flexible on pick up and drop offs. Chloe loved Sammy and Devin had her on walks even though the weather wasn't great. Can't wait to send Chloe there again!
Devin was a joy as caregiver for my pup. Because he works from home, Devin was able to work with my schedule and accommodate accordingly. He would provide long walks around Minneapolis lakes, head to local dog parks, or simply feed and take out for a quick around-the-block, per request. I ended up moving to Salt Lake City, thus our relationship as caregiver-owner has ended, yet I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an outgoing and playful caregiver. 5 Stars to Devin!
Devin’s love and passion for animals truly shows in how he cares for not only his own pets but for other people’s pets as well. Devin ability to bond and connect with animals is very genuine and respectful. He understands their needs and is willing to go the extra step to make them feel safe and welcome, including lots of exercise and playtime. He continues to provide a safe and fun environment for my dog (Harry) and I’ve appreciated knowing that while I’m on vacation having fun, so is Harry!

I would like to know if they play well with other dogs. I do not want to bring aggressive dogs around my own dog. I would like to know if the dog/puppy is potty trained as well.
A typical day
Weather permitting we love to go on long walks around lunchtime and again around 3 or 4pm. I live near Lake Harriet and often walk my dog there, and in the summer go for a little swim. My wife and I are both open to running with dogs if you have one who is trained to do so. We're working on training our own dog to run with us as well. We also often go to state parks for hikes in the woods. We have a canoe as well, and sometimes will take our dog for a paddle. Your dog's stay with us can be as active as he/she wants, or as relaxing. We love to have fires at night (in winter) and cozy up to a movie.
