Big energetic dogs—NO PROBLEM!
Pet care experience
I’ve cared for pets professionally since I was 12 years old. I was the kid everyone called to care for their critters while on vacation or business trips. I used to ride my bike all over town making my rounds. These days I take on the big energetic and outdoor dogs because there seems to be a shortage of people willing to care for large/outdoor breeds. I own two German Shepard Dogs and two cats. Our kids love our animals and spend lots of time with them. There is never a shortage of a playtime buddy.

Absolutely an amazing guy to have watch your fur babies! He was attentive to their needs and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable. He doesn't let them out of his site and let's you know what is going on and seems to have a way with my Syrra. Thankful for that. He even knows how to handle them when it comes to walking them. He also makes sure they get alot of outside time to play. And run off their energy. He is someone I can trust with both my fur babies and will trust again in the future. Excellent communication with him as well as photos and videos sent. Overall genuine and a kind personality.
This was our first time boarding our 4-month old dog. Devin made it such a smooth and pleasant experience. We were able to meet up before our reservation which helped ease my anxiety about leaving our pet. He was very knowledgeable and provided some training tips. He provided updates everyday with pics and/or videos. We will definitely use him again.
He took great care of my 2 puppers and they seemed to be at ease with him upon meeting one another. He sent me lots of pictures and the other dogs he owned seemed to enjoy my dogs as well. I highly recommend Devin and will be using him the future to watch my dogs!
This was our first time taking our GSD to Devin. We felt very comfortable leaving her in his care, and she had a great time playing with the other dogs! Plenty of room for her to run around and release some of her energy!

I have a fully fenced large backyard sitting on 7/10ths of an acre. We’re located by a walking path by the Columbia River. Most of my dog walks occur on that path. There is a maintenance road I use in the summer so the dogs paws don’t get scorched by the hot pavement—it really gets hot in the summer.

It’s nice to know if your dog needs to sleep indoors or can sleep outside. Please bring your dogs bed/mat with you. They seem to like their own bed even if it’s in a new place.
A typical day
Fetch, walks along the river and just hanging out. I also let the dogs play with other dogs as long as they’re getting along well.

I work from home and take my dogs on walks throughout the workday. When my kids arrive home from school they take the dogs on supplemental walks. Their first order of business upon arrival is to go out and play with our “buddies in the backyard”.
