Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or unique personality traits that I should be aware of. I want to be sure to make him or her as comfortable and content as possible while they are missing you! It will also be helpful to know what your normal routines are with exercise/walks, favorite toys/treats, things to keep them away from, and any normal or abnormal behavior to look for when they are feeling anxious, stressed or happy.

The key to a happy and healthy dog is regular enrichment and allowing them to engage in their innate behaviors, such as playing, chasing, smelling, chewing and scavenging. I try to prioritize these activities with my own dog (and will with yours as you are comfortable) which helps them to be physically and mentally satisfied. We LOVE walks and there are lots of trails near my house which is great. I will also make sure they can rest comfortably after any exhausting activities, either snuggling on the couch or on a bed - whichever they prefer!
