We’re two attentive, experienced caregivers who have spent our lives around dogs of all ages and personalities. I grew up with boxers, learning early on how to read energy and behavior. Brad was raised with Brittany and Springer Spaniels—family hunting dogs—and developed a strong foundation in training, structure, and consistency alongside his dad. As an adult, I cared for my rescue Plott Hound–Boxer mix through his senior years, including managing arthritis and providing compassionate end-of-life care. Brad was an important part of that journey, helping create comfort and stability every step of the way. Now, we share our home with our 1.5-year-old golden retriever mix, Livie, who keeps us active and continues to build on our experience with routines, training, and high-energy dogs. Whether your pup needs playtime, structure, or a little extra patience, we provide a safe, loving environment.

Devin took very good care of our dog Colt & he loved playing with her dog Livie which we saw in the photos she texted so we will definitely have her watch Colt again! 😊

Devin, Brad, and Livie were so welcoming to our Hallie! Hallie is a rather anxious and cautious dog. This was the longest that we have left her not with family. She warmed up to them quickly and had a great visit! They went for walks and a hike and Hallie was very comfortable here. Thanks so much!

Schedule
Pet care fits really easily into our daily routine. Brad works from home during the day, and I work evenings, so there’s usually someone home and available—your pet will get lots of attention throughout the day. We naturally build our schedule around our dog, Livie, with regular walks, feeding times, playtime, and plenty of downtime. She’s rarely left alone for long, and we’re very in tune with making sure she’s happy, comfortable, and well cared for. With both of us here, your pet will be part of our daily life and treated like one of our own. We also love sharing updates and photos, so you can feel relaxed and connected while you’re away.

We care for pets based on each family’s preferences and each pet’s individual needs, always prioritizing safety, consistency, and comfort. With both of us involved, there’s an extra level of attention and care—your pet is never just part of a routine, they’re part of our home. We closely follow any routines already in place, including feeding times, exercise schedules, and any medications or special instructions. We’ve found that sticking to what pets know helps them feel secure, relaxed, and right at home. Safety is very important to us. Dogs are always kept on a leash during walks, and we stick to our neighborhood streets and blocks, typically avoiding busy roads to keep things calm and safe. At home, we have a fully fenced, dog-friendly yard where pups can run and play—our dog Livie has definitely put it to good use. 😄 Inside, dogs are treated like part of the family. They’re welcome on furniture if that’s what they’re used to, or we’re happy to follow crate/kennel routines if that’s their normal. We do our best to match your dog’s home environment so they feel as comfortable as possible. We both enjoy being active, so walks and playtime are a big part of our day—but we always tailor activity to each pet’s age, health, and energy level. Whether it’s a slow, easy walk or more play for high-energy pups, we meet them where they’re at.

A typical day
We love keeping pets active, engaged, and happy, and all activities are based on your comfort level and your dog’s abilities. Brad and I enjoy walks together around the neighborhood, giving dogs a mix of exercise and exploration while avoiding busy streets. For dogs who are able, we also enjoy light jogs, hikes through scenic trails or state parks, and other safe adventures—always tailored to the dog’s age, health, and temperament. If a dog enjoys swimming, we’ll only consider calm, safe water with your explicit approval, and we’re very mindful of water safety and gentle conditions. Otherwise, we focus on walks, playtime, and enrichment activities at home. A typical day for us usually includes plenty of attention and companionship. Brad works from home during the day, and I work evenings, so someone is always around to supervise, play, or go on outings. Together, we make sure pets get both structured activity and downtime, and we love giving lots of love, mental stimulation, and safe adventures whenever possible
