I've grown up with pets of different sizes and ages. I have experience with young, energetic dogs as well as older dogs. I regularly administered my late dog eyedrops, pills, and a specialized diet for the last few years of her life. I've taught my family's dogs basic tricks. I'm happy to give my attention to puppies or dogs who need extra attention and potty breaks. I also regularly trimmed my dog and bathed her, as her long hair could cause UTIs and obstruct her vision. I also fostered a dog near the begging of shutdown. He was a young retriever/pitbull mix who woke me up at the crack of dawn every morning and had big dog energy!!! I fostered him for 2 weeks until he was adopted. I currently have a 1 year dog who I adopted with my boyfriend when he was around 8 months. He knows basic commands and is well socialized. Also taught him to use a doggy door.
