ABOUT US: Hello! My name is Deven and I would love to spend time with your pooch while you are gone. My significant other (Ian) and I are exuberant dog lovers, and will give your dog all the love and care that they deserve. I have been a dog lover my entire life! When I was a kid I begged my parents for a dog for years, when they finally gave in I was so happy to welcome into my family a rescue Britney Spaniel. He spent many happy years with us before passing away. Since then I have been dog sitting, volunteering for rescues, and trying to get a dog in my life in any way possible! I just graduated from college, and we just relocated to Philadelphia from Alaska so I can pursue my Master's degree in Music Therapy! Both Ian and I have grown up with dogs, and are very used to their needs. EXPERIENCE: I have been pet sitting for about 5 years now (two of those years through Rover!). I have absolutely loved the experience. During my undergraduate in Seattle I had a large client base of pup's, and it broke my heart to leave them! I am excited to find new pup's here in Philadelphia. I have had a large amount of experience pet for all sorts of different clients. I have taken care of sled dogs, small dogs, big dogs, cats, turtles, and everything in between! I have experience taking care of elderly pups, and also puppies. I have experience and am comfortable taking care of animals that need medication or are sick, I am more then happy to accommodate their needs! OUR DOG: We have one pup of our own, her name is Josie and she is a one year old husky-collie-lab mix! She did not have much socialization as a pup, so can be a bit timid at first, but is very friendly after a proper introduction. However because of that I do ask that we do a meet with both dogs before booking! AVAILABILITY: As I am in a internship and will soon be in graduate school, my availability is around my work and classes. Similarly, Ian works during the day. However our schedules are open enough to allow us to still spend quality time with your dog!
