I would make sure your pet is as happy as when they show up as they would be leaving to go back home. We can have tons of fun playing and walking and the occasional cuddle if they are into that. I have a jack russel terrier that was a rescue when she was a puppy. She is now happy as ever and her name is Zoey. I love her with all my heart!
